Women’s rights experts from 11 Central Asian countries convened in Kazakhstan for a regional Training of Trainers hosted by WLP in February 2016. The participants discussed themes of leadership, democracy building, gender-based violence, and human rights advocacy.
WLP's partner organization in Zimbabwe hosted a National Training of Trainers on Women's Leadership and Political Participation for activists in the Democratic Republic of Congo in March 2016.
More than 500 participants from 52 countries convened at Istanbul’s Boğaziçi University for the annual Civil Society 20 (C20) Summit on September 15-16, 2015. The WLP Partnership was well-represented at the summit.
