Summary

This Bill will repeal the Citizenship of Zimbabwe Act No. 23 of 1984, which will be replaced by the Zimbabwean Citizenship Act which is in compliance with Chapter 3 of the Constitution. The Bill also recognizes the constitutional imperatives relating to children and the rights of both parents in relation to the guardianship of children.
