National Strategy for Combating Violence Against Women 2015-2020 of Egypt.

The National Council for Women in Egypt, the national mechanism responsible for the development of women and the protection of their rights and freedoms, collaborated with all governmental and non governmental bodies concerned, to prepare this strategy to reduce the rate of domestic and community violence against women and girls, to rehabilitate the victims of such crimes, to mitigate their sufferings and avoid their exclusion from the community so as to ensure the stability and security of the Egyptian Society as whole.
