Sinantha (UK) comes from a refugee family – fleeing the USA’s “Secret War” in Laos during the Vietnam War. These and other personal experiences have defined her career. She is currently Founder/Director of a social impact start-up consultancy called The Dot & The Line, where she maintains a portfolio of work focused on social justice. She was recently Board Director/Governor/Deputy Chair of Grants/EDI Lead of the education foundation, The Portal Trust, Special Projects Lead/Member of Impact100 London (a collaborative philanthropy initiative focused on women and girls) and a seed investor of a few initiatives including PropElle (the UK’s first investment platform for women). Previously, she was a Strategic Advisor (previously Director of Development/Board Director) at TSIP. For 20 years, she has worked with amazing organisations spanning social innovation, policy, research, and practice to help realise shared ambitions and values (including at This Day, Migration Exchange/Global Dialogue, The Social Innovation Partnership, The Young Foundation, Praxis Community Projects/Enterprises, The Institute for Public Policy Research, The Migration Policy Institute, and The International Association for the Study of Forced Migration).
