Summary

Mahnaz Afkhami (Iran), Yakin Erturk (Turkey), and Ann Elizabeth Mayer (USA) are interviewed in the GrOW Research Bulletin about their role as editors of the book, Feminist Advocacy, Family Law and Violence Against Women: International Perspectives (2018). The interview (pages 4-5) covers many topics including their motivation for publishing the work and the role of international feminist advocacy to reform family law. 

The Growth and Economic Opportunities for Women (GrOW) Research Series is hosted by the Institute for the Study of International Development (ISID) at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. GrOW presents research about women's economic empowerment and economic growth in low-income countries to promote evidence-based policy-making.
