Women's Learning Partnership (WLP) gathered representatives from its grassroots women's rights organizations around the world for the Transnational Partnership Convening (TPC) in Potomac, Maryland.
WLP’s partner organization in Jordan, Sisterhood is Global Initiative (SIGI-J), held its ninth annual Youth and Technology Conference, “Building Youth Leadership to Participate in Municipal and Provincial Council Elections,” in Aqaba, Jordan in March of 2017.
WLP’s partner organization in Indonesia, Women and Youth Development Institute of Indonesia (WYDII), hosted a training of trainers (TOT) from June 11 to 13, 2017 in Surabaya.
In May 2017, Women’s Learning Partnership gathered activists from across Central Asia for its first Training of Trainers held in the country of Tajikistan. The four-day event took place in the capital city of Dushanbe as a follow up to the previous year’s training in Kazakhstan, which brought together several of the same women’s rights activists from the region.
