Nasrin Sotoudeh Promises Huger Strike if Denied Family Visitation Again

As published on Persian2English.com, human and women's rights activist Nasrin Sotoudeh has been repeatedly denied in-person visitation with members of her family. If denied again, Sotoudeh promised to launch a hunger strike.

Sotoudeh is a One Million Signatures campaign activist and prominent human rights defender, who, in September 2011, was sentenced by an appeals court to 6 years in prison and a 10-year ban from travel or practicing law, down from 11 years in prison and a 20-year ban. She is accused of spreading propaganda and conspiring to harm state security.
