Network Highlight: Online Museum Features Work of WLP
Women's Learning Partnership invites you to the International Museum of Women's new global online exhibition Women, Power and Politics. Using essays, art, film and political cartoons, IMOW tells the untold stories of women claiming and exercising their power to transform our world. From March 8th to December 31st, the Museum will focus on a provocative new topic each month, thus far including: What difference do women make?; What does power look like?; and Is biology destiny?. Visitors are encouraged to become a member of the online community, participate in blogs and surveys, and take action to support campaigns. An interview with WLP’s President, Mahnaz Afkhami, is featured in the exhibition's second monthly podcast titled "Leading the Way". March’s exhibition spotlights the work of WLP Nigeria/BAOBAB for Women’s Human Rights. Women, Power and Politics is available to a global audience in Arabic, English, French, and Spanish. Visit the museum at www.imow.org. WLP’s profile can be viewed here. ( categories:
