Symposiums

Our symposiums bring together prominent women’s human rights activists, scholars and influential women leaders to address major challenges facing women and girls in the Global South, and to discuss grassroots, national, and regional strategies.

These symposiums provide a unique opportunity to hear international perspectives, review major global programs, campaigns and action plans, engage in active exchange of experiences with activists from other backgrounds, and provide better understanding across cultural and ethnic lines.

WLP organizes a symposium every other year. Proceedings are available as multimedia packages.
