To empower women and girls, and enable them to transform their families, communities, and societies, WLP works with 18 partner organizations to provide training in participatory leadership and information communication technologies. Trainings are delivered in a range of formats in order to reach as many women as possible.

Leadership trainings are delivered all over the world using our signature training manual Leading to Choices: A Leadership Training Handbook for Women, available in 17 culture-specific adaptations.

Through our ICT Capacity Building Program, we have created six IT Centers. Not only do we endeavor to give women access to ICT, but we also help increase women’s ICT skills and confidence, and extend their participation as producers of content and ICT technicians.

Sponsorship Levels

Help empower women by sponsoring them to attend the leadership training and information technology training workshops.

$100 sponsors one woman to attend a four-day leadership training workshop.
$200 sponsors one woman to learn computer skills at an information technology workshop.
$400 sponsors four women to attend a four-day leadership training workshop.
$800 sponsors four women to learn computer skills at an information technology workshop.

Locations: Trainings are conducted in various locations. We are currently planning leadership trainings in Egypt and Mauritania as well as information technology trainings in Afghanistan, Jordan, and Zimbabwe. WLP, in collaboration with partner organizations, creates culture-specific curriculum with a flexible approach. You can also give gifts of training materials for the workshops.Or you can support a project in one of our partner countries, helping them to help others.

How to Donate:

Online: Give online using your credit card. WLP processes donations through secure servers at Democracy in Action.

By Mail: Send a check through mail. Please make the check payable to Women's Learning Partnership and mail it to WLP, 4343 Montgomery Ave, Suite 201, Bethesda MD 20814.
