Gifts of Hope: Partner Projects

Women's Learning Partnership is made up of WLP International in the USA and 18 WLP national and regional partners in Afghanistan, Brazil, Cameroon, Egypt, India, Iran, Indonesia, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mauritania, Morocco, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Palestine, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Zimbabwe.

The organizations work on a range of issues from eliminating violence against women to economic empowerment, from legal reform to women's human rights. Highlighted below are some upcoming projects and their funding requirements. The listing is constantly updated. Partner Project Packages

Assist grassroots women's organizations in their efforts to create new and empowered women leaders who can be the changemakers in their families, communities, and societies.

$250 will enable our Lebanon partner to pay staff salary for a month. 11 more gifts will pay staff salary for a year.
$1250 pays travel, housing, and related expenses for our Nigerian partner trainer to facilitate a skills building workshop in Liberia. 2 more gifts will complete the five day training.
$2500 will enable our Morocco partner to begin rebuilding their office infrastructure after a recent fire. 4 more gifts will complete the rebuilding.
$5000 begins the creation of an IT center in Turkey. 5 more gifts will complete the center.

WLP, in collaboration with partner organizations, conducts leadership training and information technology training workshops. You can also sponsor women to attend trainings in these countries or support the organizations by gifting training materials they can provide to women and girls.

Honor a Friend or Family Member:

Honor a friend or family member with a donation and WLP will send an acknowledgement of your gift to the recipient.

How to Donate:

Online: Give online using your credit card. WLP processes donations through secure servers at Democracy in Action.

By Mail: Send a check through mail. Please make the check payable to Women's Learning Partnership and mail it to WLP, 4343 Montgomery Ave, Suite 201, Bethesda MD 20814.

Workplace Giving: If your employer participates in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), designate Women's Learning Partnership (CFC # 10130 - previously 1041) as the recipient.

All contributions are tax-deductible. WLP is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the United States.
