ESCWA Centre for Women is working hard to bring the voices of affected women to political decision-makers in an advocacy effort to modify the discriminatory legislation. We are calling upon individual women from Arab countries to provide us with testimonies on how they are affected because of their deprivation of this right. These testimonies will be published in the first issue of the centre's Arab Women's Electronic Magazine. Please write to us at azzouni@un.org.
