Azar Nafisi is featured in this fifth podcast from the launch of the “Claiming Equal Citizenship” Campaign.

P1000679Azar is a world-renowned author, most notably of, Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir in Books. She is also the Director of The Dialogue Project at Johns Hopkins University.

In this podcast, Azar talks about how women from Muslim-majority countries are the hope for change in their countries and encourages women to use democratic means in order to elicit change in legislative areas.
