Best Practices for Building Organizational Capacity

WLP works through local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to reach the grassroots using WLP’s signature curriculum and trainings, peer-to-peer capacity building programs, advocacy campaigns, and movement building work. Through these strategies, grassroots women and CSOs gain a greater ability to make their voices heard, articulate agendas for action, build necessary skills to participate in and build democratic communities and societies, and successfully advocate for social and political change.

WLP’s Best Practices for Building Organizational Capacity is designed to increase the overall effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of CSOs, in order to achieve their strategic goals. The toolkits are geared to strengthen the foundations of CSOs and equip them with the right tools and knowledge to practice effective program monitoring and evaluation, design and implement practical grant management strategies, and sustain and increase their financial stability and transparency.
