For nearly two decades, WLP's Lifelines has brought together writers and poets to read original works about human rights. Four talented poets recited poems relating to themes of exile, rebirth, and love at this year's Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York.

On International Women’s Day (IWD), Women’s Learning Partnership (WLP) kicked off its global campaign against discriminatory family laws with its event, ‘24 Hours for Equality in the Family.’ Partners from eight different countries organized screenings of WLP’s new documentary, Equality: It’s All in the Family, and led discussions on reforming family laws in their respective countries.
